Abstract:
The transition to development is a very complex and long procedure. In addition to huge investments in different sections, it needs a dramatic change in cultural, economic, social and political infrastructures. There are many developing countries in which, some developing plans have been devised and implemented, but they have not led to a sustainable growth. This study, tries to highlight the experience of China as a country that has passed a large part of the transition to development and has turned into an economic superpower in a relatively short time. The study is focused on the role of Project Portfolio Leadership and Strategic Management in this eye-opening success. Then, some general suggestions were proposed to other developing countries
