Abstract:

The most important issues in logistics transportation are the waste collection that has the significant effect in human health and environment. In this paper, waste collection problem is considered by regarding time window constraint and customer’s satisfaction. The location of depots and treatment facilities is determined from potential places and waste is collected from customer s node by the heterogeneous vehicle with separated compartment for each type of waste then according to waste type is recycled in treatment facilities. Vehicles have different fixed and variable cost. In addition, mixed close-open routes are considered. The proposed model is validated by GAMS and the none-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) is developed to solve the large-sized problems
