Performance of Reinforced Concrete Slabs Strengthend with FRP abstract
In this research, 13 concrete slabs reinforced with polymeric fibers with openings andfixed width of slab (4 m), with polymer tapes of 5, 7.5 and 10 cm width, and the axialdistance to the polymeric axis of 20 cm and angles 15, 30, 45 and 90 degrees werecompared to the slab along the ABAQUS finite element analysis software. The resultsinclude the comparative graphs of the parameters of the deformation of the slab (slab),the maximum stresses of the rebar, FRP and concrete slab and the maximum tolerableload by the slab.
