This paper investigates types of dampers and their performance during earthquake. Also, theyhave investigated the tall buildings in the world and satisfactory level of damper performancehas been studied. And the results show that no only dampers have an acceptable seismicbehavior against lateral forces such as wind and earthquake forces. But it has reducedconstruction limitations of multi-storey building.and The comparison of relative and absolutedisplacements of the structure using the two different methods of nonlinear static (pushover)and nonlinear dynamic analyses indicates that the nonlinear static analyses give the moreconservative results in most of the cases considered and predict larger displacements for thestructure
