Network-oriented adaptive fault detection and diagnostic algorithms for real-time agent systems abstract
Considering today’s technology, many enterprise andbusiness services are looking for ways to improvealgorithms and online software for their network andservices. The management of network traffic plays a crucialrole in transaction-oriented wide area networks (WANs)where large amounts of data are received and transmitted. This research paper will focus on commercially adaptivescheduling algorithms, protocols and resource allocationmethods that have been developed to improve real-timesoftware supporting network services.Service fault detection in transaction-oriented WANs willbe discussed. A software system, TRISTAN, capable ofdetecting faults will be introduced and discussed. Variousfamous network access services, such as the AT&Tnetwork, will be covered in this paper. Anomaly detectionand the transaction access services (TAS) network ofAT&T, a multi-service system, will be introduced in thispaper. Various scheduling issues of real-time software andproposed scheduling algorithms designed to improve powerand resource management will be discussed. An embeddedsystem developed for wireless sensor networks will also bediscussed in this paper. Modern approaches to improve theflow of network information will be covered.
