Abstract:

There are several methods for the production of nanocomposites, including: casting, sol gel, hot pressing, hot isostatic shear making, melting phase, mechanical methods, etc. One of the most important mechanical methods is mechanochemical testing. In the mechanochemical method, a large portion of the energy required for the alloying reactions is provided by high energy mills, and the particle size and powder structure can be changed by changing the parameters such as milling type and milling time. In this research, the main objective is to investigate the properties of aluminum-Al2O3 powder nano composites created by mechanochemical method. Aluminum powder (90% wt) and alumina (10% wt) have been used in this regard. The main variables are speed velocity (200 and 480 rpm) and the milling time (5, 10, 15 and 20 hours). The results of this study show that increasing the aging time increases the strength of nanocomposite failure. But its dactylity is constant, which is due to the better distribution of alumina particles. Also, the hardness and toughness of nanocomposites have also increased. In this regard, an instrument of hardness testing, stretching and microscopic scanning electron microscopy have been used.
