A Novel Three Port DC-DC Converter for Fuel Cell based Electric Vehicle (FCEV) Application abstract
Fuel cell based electric vehicles (FCEVs) are newly introduced as electric vehicle (EV) technology. DC-DC converters play an important role in energy conversion process of FCEV’s powertrain. Three port converters (TPCs) with their simple structure and control strategy are good candidates for this purpose. A novel TPC converter is discussed in this paper. Simulation results obtained from MATLAB/Simulink prove the functionality of the proposed topology during acceleration and regenerative braking conditions.
