Abstract:
Plastic shrinkage cracking (PSC) is a general kind of early-age cracking that is observed to happen. Low volumes of randomly distributed short fibers have been reported as one promising solution to control plastic cracking. In addition in hot and humid zone, by entered water in exist cracks of concrete, the bar damages and It tends to corrode faster in a salty atmosphere, such as by the sea. So with decrease the early age crack in concrete, we can strengthen concrete structures. In this study effect of Bagass (cane slag) and hair of goat instead of fiber (BIF & HGF) on plastic shrinkage cracking (PSC) of concrete in slab was investigated. BIF & HGF mass fractions were investigated 0.5-5% in ordinary concrete and 1-3% in lightweight concrete (LWC) respectively.BIF & HGF mass fractions were proper to control of plastic shrinkage cracks in 1-2% & 1% range respectively
