Universalization of Pearls of World Literature: Emphasis on Certain Instances of Bedil’s Persian Poems

Literatures are typically and primarily national and/or regional, reflecting the values associated with the socio-cultural contexts of their origin. Despite this local origin, some instances of literary works are credited with the merits that make them worthy of international value and fame. Since some poems of Bedil of Delhi deserve such attention and status to go international, the present paper attempts to explore and suggest some ways to reach this goal by means of producing in English their translation, commentaries, and documentation
