Synthesis and characterization of nanocrystalline MFI type zeolite: application of zeolitic modified carbon paste electrode for electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol

Nanocrystalline MFI type zeolite was synthesized using clear solutions under atmospheric condition. The obtained zeolite was characterized by XRD and SEM techniques. Then Ni ( ) ions were incorporated to the zeolite by immersion of modified carbon paste electrode with synthesized zeolite in a 1.0 M nickel chloride solution and cyclic voltametric experiments showed that methanol electrooxidized at the surface of these Ni ( ) ions incorporated to modified ZSM-5 carbon paste electrode
