Effects of primary sol aging on structural revolutions of mesoporous titanium dioxide:from the primary sol to the final powder abstract

Mesoporous titania powder was synthesized based on self-assembly techniques, using nonionic triblock copolymer as surfactant template, under acidic condition, by sol-gel method. According to investigation of sol aging effects on structure, prepared sol has been aged in 50C for 14 days. The results of DLS analysis show the formation of micelles in aged sample. Samples have been characterized by DTA/TG, XRD, N2 adsorption -desorption isotherms after calcinations. Compared with non-eaged, the results indicate that the structure of aged sample is closed to ordered mesostructure materials
