Abstract:
Considering the energy crises and environmental problems caused by fossil fuel Combustion, utilizing renewable energy resources like biomass is significantly important. Provinces of Iran are the main resources of Agricultural, horticulture, Greenhouse and forest waste which can be converted into energy. For this purpose, TOPSIS technique is used to ranking the provinces based on their potential for energy production from biomass feedstock.
