Abstract:

Due to the increase in cancer mortality rates, studies have been conducted to develop preventive treatments and anticancer medicines around the world, and due to the side effects of chemical drugs, attention has been paid to natural-drug-based drugs (1). Recently, the use of natural ingredients, such as Compounds extracted from sea hare, due to its non-toxic and marine natural products, Many have been caught up in controlling many diseases, such as invasive cancers(2). The effects of the 60 kDa protein extracted from sea hare have been studied. Studies have shown that this protein has antibacterial (3), blood agglutination (4) and anti-tumor activities(4)(5). In a study that s done on MM46 and MH134 tumor cells, Sea hares which belong to the subclass Opisthobranchia of the Mollusca, show to have anticancer effects (6). In study anti cancerous effect of aplysianin E extracted from sea hare does on L1210, EL4, L929, Raji, Molt-3, and K-562 lukemic cancer cell lines and show sea hare of Aplysia species have activities against tumor cells (7) and cytolitic purple fluid from sea hare have been determined(8). Studies on HL60, NB4, K562, and HL60 also showed inhibitory effects on these cell lines, especially NB4 and HL60 (9). Due to the side effects of chemotherapy drugs and the high cost of purchasing, it is possible to produce biological medicines using biological compounds, including compounds extracted from marine organisms, including sea hare, which, along with the anticancer effects that have side effects of chemotherapy drugs or can be used complementary to chemotherapy drugs to further heal and reduce the effects of misuse of conventional drugs and also reduce the high cost of anticancer drugs.
