A review on rodents control strategies to lessen crops and health damages abstract

Rats and mice are kind of rodent species, which are commonly found in houses, farms, industrial places, food storage places, food factories and etc. These types of disgusting mammals damage people resources, especially foods or crops and endanger their health. There has been stablished and created abundant of ways to control them to decrease their harms on people’s resources during the history. In this review, the influence of rodents in people’s life as well as the methods of decreasing and restricting of rodents population including chemical and non-chemical methods to lessen the crisis of rodent’s destroying effect in health and agriculture field, are studied and illustrated. Chemical methods such as using inorganic and organic poisons in different types are widely used by people to get rid of these creatures.Meanwhile non-chemical ways are also suggested by experts to control rodents, for instance traps, glue and etc. Generally, all these methods, which are applied and tried in every part of the world, have got advantages and disadvantages. These pros and cons are also defined in the present study, then people can choose the best way to limit the number of rodents and improve the health level
