The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence Components and Marital Satisfaction Nursing women working at Kashani Hospital in Shahrekord

Background: Marriage is an introduction to family formation and is always acknowledged as the highest social formulation to meet the emotional and security needs of adults Despite the fact that satisfactory marriage is one of the important factors in mental health of the community, But if marriage and family life create unfavorable conditions for satisfying the psychological needs of couples, not only mental health will not be realized, but it will also have negative, sometimes irreparable, effects of neurological disorders, depression and suicide, which are the consequences of family disorder. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence components and marital satisfaction in nursing women working in Kashani hospital of Shahrekord. Methods: In this descriptive-analytical study, 150 nursing women in Shahrekord s Kashani Hospital were selected by sampling method. A randomized study was conducted to measure the emotional intelligence of the scale-based treatment meta-style questionnaire and to measure the marital satisfaction of Anrich s marital satisfaction questionnaire. Data was collected using descriptive and analytical statistics using SPSS software. Version 21 was analyzed Result:The results showed that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and its components with marital satisfaction and between the number of children, level of education and type of marriage with marital satisfaction (p≤0.5). Among the predictive variables, attention, clarity and reconstruction variables had the most role in predicting marital satisfaction. conclusion:Regarding the employment of women and the negative impact of this issue on marital satisfaction and the significant relationship between emotional intelligence and marital satisfaction, officials have a good opportunity for young couples to learn emotional intelligence
