Indicators of Supply Chain Management (SCM): Performance and Supplier Selection abstract
Suppliers can no longer be viewed as independent entities to be dealt with at arms length, but as extensions of the buying firm itself. In this respect, Supply Chain Management (SCM), analysis and improvement is becoming increasingly important. As the supply chains become more complicated, determining appropriate performance measures and supplier selection criteria would be more important and critical. Considering the fact that current SCM systems seems not to be sufficient and inclusive, this paper attempts to provide a comprehensive study of indicators towards supplier selection and performance of SCM.
