Abstract:
The ability of the sodium, potassium, guanidinium, and tetramethylammonium salts of [CuNiV11O40]-21, as a green and eco-friendly polyoxometalate was studied in the syntheses of silver nanoparticles. The prepared silver nanoparticles were characterized, using UV-Visible absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD). It was found that the counter cation affects the size and morphology. Among the salts, examined the sodium salt was found most the effective, rendering the preparation of silver nanoparticles.
