The role of security in tourism and the economy of the borders of South Khorasan and Afghanistan

Sustainable tourism stems from sustainable development. Sustainable development is one of the fundamentals of economic, social and political advancement in the world. Due to the role that tourism can play in this field, especially in countries like Iran, the necessity and necessity of paying attention to sustainable tourism is of great importance. The success and sustained growth of tourism depends on the proper functioning of the various elements and factors that are closely interrelated. One of the most important of these factors is tourism security and tourism destinations. Today, security is considered as the most important and basic principle in developing a strategy for tourism development in the world. There is a defined relationship between tourism, stability, development, and security, and any incidence of insecurity and the use of violence at various levels entails irreparable harm to the industry. In this article, we try to consider the importance of tourism from the angle of security in the desert area and the resources of Wakhanat in the southern Khorasan and the Afghan border.
