Enough municipal waste is produced each year in world to cover much area of land. Disposal of this waste is a major industry which costs money, wastes resources and damages the environment. There are several ways for treating the waste including recycling, land filling and incineration, each method have several defects and benefits. Currently only eight per cent of municipal waste is recycled, and the vast bulk (85%) is simply dumped in landfill sites
