Visualization of Spatial Mobility on Iranian Urban System

Visualization, as an interdisciplinary subject, plays a variety of applications in communication and information. One of the spaces that can be combined with visualization is urban spaces. A special technique of visualization is considered as one of the significant areas in information retrieval so as to clarify the concept of information and establish effective communication. This method helps us to form a general view of the connection between network nodes. In this study, a circle form and the relationship among 60 cities of Iran were generated by software Inkscape through which it is possible to draw less cluttered relationships between geographical entities and which offers the possibility of including more information on the underlying node and edge attributes compared to conventional two-dimensional layouts.
