Multiphase flow is always have been interested subject to research, that paid attention by many researchers, in this field some parameters such as viscosity, pressure, and surface-tension, etc always was surveyed because of its significance in industry. in this report, the first we compared the Analytical solution and simulation method by COMSOL Multiphysics™, we used phase field method (PFM) to solve the velocity and relative permeability profiles for 1D two-phase laminar flow in a horizontal channel, and analyzed check changes the length on the velocity profile. At the end also analyzed the effect of surface-tension (capillary number) on that. So the model was able to interpret the viscous coupling effect, too. Besides, this point was proved that absolute permeability is independent of fluid properties, however, it’s a function of channel geometry.
