Influence of different parameters on oenetration power of prome coat

Prime coat is pray application of slow or medium curing cut back or emulsified asphalt. Its purpose is to penetrate, bond and stabilize the existing layer in order to promote adhesion between the Bitumen emulsions are suitable to be used as prime coat due to they have a good penetration are suitable to be used as prime coat due to they have a good penetration into the surface , and easy application. Penetration power pf prime coat depends on the type of bitumen emulsion and the specification of aggregate mixture. The influence of different factors (eg. Emulsion viscosity & aggregates type) on the ability of bitumen emulsion to parameters and wet the aggregates is studied by changing each of parameters in a wide range.
