Study of the Performance of Pumped-Storage hydroelectricity and its Use in Iran abstract
Talk of imbalances in different hours of the day is a topic that has attracted the attention of network experts.The ideal mode is that the power consumption is the same throughout the day, to bring less stress to the power equipment. One of the methods for balancing production and consumption is the use pumped-storage hydroelectricity. This paper describes the definition of a pumped storage plant, the classification of storage tanks and a variety of pumped storage projects. Then the advantages and disadvantages of the pumped power plants are given. An analytical and analytical study of the important components of the storage telescopic power stations and the locations of the pumped storage plant and the operation of the pumped storage plant is presented in the following sections. In the next section, reservoir pump stations in Iran have been investigated, including the Siahbisheh and Ilam Power Plant. At the end, conclusions and suggestions are given.
