Potentiometric analysis of various sources of Distributed Generation (DG) in Iran and the study of barriers and developmental problems

Today, with the advent of science and technology, attention to the issue of scattered generation and renewable energy in the power system has risen steadily. In this paper, the definition of distributed generation sources is presented in various countries of the world. Then, the barriers and problems of development of distributed generation resources are expressed in the world, and solutions have been proposed to reduce barriers including technical, commercial and legal. In the following sections, Iran has been dealt with. Spheres of production are expressed in Iran and should cover two parts of using production capacities in different parts of the country and connecting to distribution networks. The reasons for approach to distributed sources of production in Iran and the necessities of Iran s approach are presented and the potential of distributed generation sources is presented in Iran. In the end, there are also conclusions and suggestions.
