Phenomenon compensation the voltage waveform gap of sensitive loads In power systems abstract

voltage sag and shortage in the output voltage and the feeding source voltage, cause increased harmonic disturbances in load voltage waveform and improper functioning of the industrial equipments. Dynamic voltage restorer is a distribution FACTS devices located between feeding source and the sensitive load and compensates the voltage deficiency by injecting voltage and recovers the sag phenomenon in load voltage. Compensating the voltage sag and swell mainly depends on dynamic voltage restorer control system. In this paper, by using fuzzy and PI control methods, a suitable control system is developed in order to improve the voltage deficiency and voltage sag phenomenon. The performance of the controllers as well as the dynamic voltage restorer is investigated by using MATLAB simulations.
