Energy Internet as an Approach to Modern Energy Management in Future

Global population growth, middle class growth and economic growth in developing countries will lead to an unprecedented increase in energy demand. But considering today s conditions, it s impossible to respond to this demand, or if the demand is covered, the environment will be seriously damaged by the excessive emissions of greenhouse gases. So there s no way unless to go towards renewable energy and increase productivity on demand side. The concept of the Internet of Energy (IOE) or Energy Internet, which is described in this article, is one of the technology-based solutions that will have a great potential for improving the efficiency and energy management.
