Survey on recieving and continutiy of participation of pregnant mothers in childbirth prepration classes in general healthcare organizations (year 1397)

introduction:Pregnancy and childbirth are a natural and physiological process. childbirthprepration classes by informing and increasing the awareness of pregnant mothers can play animportant role in making the right decision about the most suitable method of child birth for them.the continuity of their participation in multiple sessions of these classes can also result in mentaltranquility and persuade them to choose the physiological method for childbirth.Method: This study was done in the form of Descriptive-cross sectional in isfahan medical sciencesuniversity. the data and Documentation reported in 1395‚ 1396 and 1397 were gathered from theholding place of childbirth preparation classes in general healthcare centers. in order to analyze thedata, they used the absolute value of T test and KS in spss software.Findings: In this study that was done in 1397 among those pregnant women whom were taken carein Isfahan province, 25% growth in their participation and the average 5 session participation indelivery preparation classes in 1397 compared to 1395 and 1396 was observed. According to theabsolute value of T test , there is an important meaningful difference between the averageattendance in these classes in 95, 96 and 97.Conclusion :The results show that participation of mothers in childbirth preparation classes in thesecenters in terms of numbers,sequence and continuity is relatively favorable and can be a product ofone or more of the following factors:1 .The satisfaction of mothers of receiving and continuity of reassuring services during theirpregnancy by midwives of healthcare centers who function as teachers in childbirth preparationclasses in addition of pregnancy surveillances can increase the willingness of mothers to use thesecaring and educational services.2 .The existence of a Reference tracking system of pregnant mothers in health departments that canbe a persuading message about the importance of mother and child s health for system andcaregivers to mothers.3 .Revewing and Implementation of effective changes in checklists of childbirth preparation clssessurveillance and improving it.4 .Aiming for the rate of pregnant mothers participation in childbirth preparation classes.
