Abstract:

Background and Aim : Male infertility is a complex disorder that affects a large part of the population. However, many of the causes are unknown and this makes it more accurate to put these subjects. It seems that genetic disorders play an important role in male infertility, especially in non-obstructive azoospermia cases. Non-obstructive azoospermia refers to no sperm in the semen because of abnormal sperm production. Sperm production problems can result from hormonal problems, testicular failure, or varicocele, or varicose veins in the testicles. So far, several studies that have been conducted to differentiate gene expression in the control and infertile groups have led to the identification of genes that have never been linked to infertility.CAPN11 and UBQLN3 are two genes that have shown a correlation in male infertility. Methods : RNA of 30 control and 30 case extracted, primer of CAPN11 and UBQLN3 were designed and real-time PCR was done. Results : expression of CAPN11 and UBQLN3 reduced in azoospermic individuals. Conclusion : the CAPN11 gene will requlate spermatogenesis and sperm penetration into zona plucida. the presence and activity of CAPN11 in the testes have a direct association with apoptosis in the germ cells and regulate the exoression of transcription factors in the testes.
