Abstract:
Multi -rotors vehicles have become popular because of the vast proportion of potential that they have in diversifying places and missions. These machines are powered by electric motors and batteries. Multi-rotors are manufactured in different types and the aim is obtaining thinner weight and maximum flight time and higher payload. To acquire these important there are many ways to produce multi-rotors with high performance. To achieve the effective production, Additive Manufacturing (AM) with the Fused Deposition Modeling technique, which wide range of polymeric material can be used, is suggested. One of the important materials is Polyetherimide (PEI) which is kind of Polyimides. ULTEM9085 and ULTEM1010 derive from PEI that have a significant mechanical, chemical, thermal and electrical properties. ULTEM 30% Glass Reinforced is recommended to make a reduction of multi-rotors’ arms weight and cost of production relatively Aluminum Casting and Carbon Fiber.
