Abstract:

Background: Multiple sclerosis especially at a young age, which leads to a sharp decrease in the quality of life of the affected patients and gradually people Will lead to disability. This study investigated strategies for improving the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis . Methods: This study is a systematic review by searching the databases Magiran, SID, Google scholar, Pubmed, web of science, Amedeo keywords within the Multiple Sclerosis, Quality of Life and Promotion took place during the years 2000 to 2019. In this study Interventional articles have been used. Results: The results of various studies indicate that progressive muscle relaxation, the effect of 12 weeks exercise in water, Orem s self-care pattern, hope therapy, psychotherapy, prayer, aerobic activity in water, Couturen and Cocaee exercises, yoga exercises, self-control exercises and water Therapy has had a positive impact on the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis. But periodic aerobic exercises did not affect the quality of life of people with this disease. The results of studies on the effect of exercise on the quality of life of these individuals were contradictory. Massage also had a significant effect on the quality of life of the physical health, but there was no significant effect on mental health. Conclusions: Despite the positive results of studies to improve the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis, it seems that these methods are still not recommended for use by nurses and patients who need further investigation. The use of non-medical treatments such as spiritual therapy and appropriate exercise due to low complications and low-cost fitness seems appropriate.
