Economic-Statistical Design of VSI Hotelling’s T2 Control Chart Using ABC algorithm

In this paper the VSI Hotelling’s T2based on economic-statistical design is considered.This scheme based on statistical design waspresented by Faraz et al. [1]. We know that cost alsois very important in quality control. Focusing on acost or statistical properties alone, can be keep usaway from optimization and take a correct decisionabout production process. To build an economicstatisticaldesign, the cost model of Costa and Rahim[2] is used. We utilized artificial bee colony (ABC)algorithm to obtain optimal design parameters(sample size, sampling intervals, warning limit andcontrol limit).
