Abstract:
Cardiovascular diseases are becoming the main cause of mortality and disability in most countries of the world. These diseases are currently among the first three causes of human death worldwide. Using data mining techniques to help predict and identify people at risk reduces the complications of the disease. In this study, Artificial Neural Network(ANN) algorithm was used to predict coronary artery disease (CAD). The data from this research is taken from the UCI Reservoir, which is the standard reference for data types, and in particular medical data. The main goal of this study is to help doctors to diagnose and respond more quickly to heart disease and to assess the risk of developing such a disease in an experienced person. The proposed method can detect the presence or absence of heart disease. This algorithm predicts the coronary heart disease by acceptable accuracy.
