Abstract:
As we know, using the modern and low-consumption air conditioning systems has been one of the most important issues for designers. The standard ventilation systems should be able to provide optimum energy consumption in addition to providing comfort conditions for inhabitants. According to the urban standard, comfort conditions are referred to favorable conditions of relative humidity and temperature in building, so that 80% of its inhabitants feel comfortable about it. Using the dehumidification systems with rotary wheel is one of the most important options for building designers in humid and hot climates, which low energy consumption and have good efficiency more than other dehumidification systems. In this paper, some of the effective parameters on the efficiency of rotary dehumidification systems, such as the characteristics of absorbent materials and channel geometry have been studied.
