New Insights on Solving Fuzzy Linear Programming Problems

In recent years numerous researches have studied various properties of the fuzzy linear programming (FLP) problems and proposed different approaches for solving them. In this paper, the limitations and shortcomings of the existing methods are pointed out. Then a new technique is proposed to obtain the fuzzy optimal solution of the FLP problems that is simple and yet addresses the shortfalls in the existing approaches in the literature. It is shown that it is possible to find same fuzzy optimal solutions by solving equivalent crisp linear programming problems.
