A Framework For The Evaluation And Selection Of Optimal Secure And Anonymous Electronic Payment Systems

Electronic Payment Systems have a high importance in the digital information systems today. Security and anonymity are Determining factors in this area. Electronic money isin fact a series of digital information that can be sniffed and copied when transmitted through the network, processor Systems and data storage systems. In addition, users automatically leave a trace of their activities in the digital world that destroys the anonymity of payments. In this study, a framework for evaluating security and anonymity of different electronic payment systems is presented and required decision tables are provided as well as various criteria are defined. Bases on the presented framework, a comparison was made between several existing systems and their rank was determined based on various aspects of security
