Abstract:
Green Infrastructure (GI) is an integrated approach or strategy in planning that rose incombination of conservation planning and ecological science. This strategy along withecosystem services (ES) is developed as a concept that have potential to promotelandscape planning in urban areas based on a more holistic understanding of the complexinterrelations and dynamics of social–ecological systems. Through these concepts manydiscipline, knowledge and methods are reviewed and also applied in various situation andthis diversity in considering concerns on one hand make it a popular framework for smartdevelopment, conservation planning and also adaptation to climate change and on theother hand make it very hard to have an integrated analysis to set this framework.Although it is tried or proclaimed that Green Infrastructure bring a systematic andintegrated viewpoint in landscape planning, it is not yet shown in practice. Becauseplanning for multiple functions and in multi scale approach can be difficult when manydiverse stakeholders are involved and also diverse objectives are mentioned, it must beexplored decision support tools that could be applied to green infrastructure planning. This paper explain the necessity of setting a model for supporting decisions in anintegrated approach of planning such Green Infrastructure and through a content analysisand analogical analysis it is tried to set a basement for making this model. Building aconceptual framework of this model would clear the way of developing it. So in thispaper as a first step it is tried to collect a classified focused area of Green Infrastructurethen it is provided an integrated conceptual framework that can also inform the design ofplanning processes and support stronger exchange between GI and other relatedresearches. The position of the title in this section is 120 mm from the top of the page orupper edge.
