Abstract:
This paper addresses robust control of fractional-order Lü system via a chattering-free sliding mode controller in the presence of uncertainties and external disturbances. At first, a fractional-order integral type sliding surface is considered, and then an appropriate switching control law is derived to control the chaotic system. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem stability of the controller is analyzed which shows that the controller can be used for both commensurate and incommensurate systems. To reduce the chattering effect, a Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) has been used. Numerical simulations have been carried out to verify the effectiveness of the controller.
