Abstract:
In this paper, a numerical study of plume dispersion and rise of smoke plume and concentration distribution of pollutants in the ground level has been discussed. Due to large temperature differences between the pollutants and the environment, buoyancy force is considered. Also in this paper k -e and k - e RNG turbulence models are used. In comparison between achieved results for smoke plume distribution from numerical solution and Gaussian model a few difference are seen which are due Simplification that are used for achievement of Gaussian model. The results show that a good agreement between pollutants climb and experimental relations is available. Amount of climb pollutants in the stable and unstable states, respectively, is minimum and maximum, so concentration of pollutants at ground level in the stable and unstable states, respectively, are maximum and minimum
