Abstract:The main aim of this research is to evaluate the effect of contributing frame lines on the Yielding Base Shear Force of Outrigger Braced Structures. For this purpose three dimensional outrigger braced structures with various bays, height and frame lines, are analyzed and designed, taking into account soil specifications and spectral acceleration levels. Later by performing Modal Push-over Analysis on each model, Yielding Base Shear Force for each model due to soil conditions and spectral accelerations are computed. Finally the mean value of Yielding Force for each frame line quantity is summarized.
