Combustion and emission analysis of Apium graveolens biodiesel abstract
The present experiment surreys the new specious of biodiesel (Apium graveolens oil ) by a 3LD 510 model diesel engine with a single-cylinder. The dynamometer Eddy CurrentWE400 model from Pars Andish Innovative Company (MPA) was used. All biodiesels blends had greater BSFC compared to the diesel fuel. The bottommost BSFC was shown by AGB5. At1800 rpm, the lowest amount of AGB5 was presented about 0.47 kg/kWh. BP was enhanced for all fuels over the enhancement of the engine speeds. AGB5 had greater BP compared withAGB20, while, it was inferior to diesel fuels. The maximum of BP for AGB5 was at 1600 and it was about 5 kW. The lowermost amount of smoke emissions was observed by the AGB20compared with other fuels. The diesel fuel was higher than the biodiesel blends around 53.7%-55.9%. The lowest HC and CO emission was shown by the AGB20 compared with all biodiesel and diesel fuels.
