Multipoint Synchronous E-Learning: Effective Service Delivery for Mobile Learners abstract
Due to offering various benefits, synchronous E-learning solutions are used for different purposes in manydifferent areas. However, despite all the benefits, for effective service delivery, E-learning applications need to confrontmultiple issues. This work mainly focuses on three issues, including bandwidth requirement and redundancy, scalability, and learners’ mobility. To further address the issues, this work develops a simulation model. The modelincludes two networks including long term evolution (LTE) and 802.11ac with multiple mobile learners. The model isimplemented in order to measure the performance of the E-learning applications during the delivery process of videoservices in terms of delay and jitter. The results are used to determine an effective way to deliver service related to Elearningapplications to mobile learners.
