The effect of diesel, gasoline and CNG fuels on the amount and type of pollutants emitted from urban passenger cars abstract

The emission factor of gasoline, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG) fueled urban passenger vehicles were investigated using IVE emission model. Second by second speed and acceleration changes of urban driving cycle, vehicle technologies data, and climate information of Tabriz-Iran were considered as input of this model. Gasoline and diesel fueled vehicles have the highest and the least CO and VOC emission factor. diesel fueled vehicles have the highest emission in SOx, PM, N2O and CO2. While in the case of NOx and CH4, CNG fueled vehicles have the highest rank.
