Abstract:

One of the most important and most dangerous environmental pollutants is the pollution from heavy metal ions found in wastewater from industrial units. In many Third World countries, as well as in developing countries, there is no proper control of the wastewater systems that enter the environment. In this research, the percentage of aluminum metal output from blended boilers of the combined cycle power plant in Shiraz has been reduced by the biodegradation process. For this purpose, brown tropical algae, collected from the coast of the island of Qeshm, were used to reduce the concentration of aluminum metal. It was found that by adjusting the amount of absorbent material in optimum temperature and duration, the ability to reduce the amount of metal required to 07 % Can be done. According to the results, it can be stated that brown algae absorbs a high percentage of aluminum metal ion without altering the chemical parameters of water such as pH. Finally, the duration of the biodegradable sample is 2 - 4 hours, and most suitable amount of algae injected is 7070grams at an optimum temperature of 07 degrees Celsius. Also, the above process model was used with the help of the MATLAB software that the proposed model, which follows Langmuir s surface absorption isotherm, has a fairly good fit with the laboratory data.
