Flipped classroom: A new approach on Grammatical Accuracy for Iranian EFL Learners abstract
This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of flipped classroom on Iranian EFL learners’ grammatical accuracy improvement. To achieve this aim, the researcher adopted the experimental approach with a number of 20 upper-intermediate learners including two groups of experimental and control group. The traditional method was used in teaching grammar to the control group, while the flipped classroom was used to the experimental group. The comparison between the students’ scores showed that there was a significant difference in the final performance of two groups. Therefore, this study supports the idea that flipped classroom improves the EFL learners’ grammar mechanism. Since flipped classroom proved to be useful with Iranian EFL learners, EFL teachers can adopt the technique in their classes to advance their students language learning.
