Abstract:

In order to study of interaction four rangland species and three trees species in form of mixed plantion(silvopastoral system) with different spaccing for forage yield, wood consumption, particularly in the form of fuel ,industrial wood and rehabilitation of areas, this survey was carried out on sandy hills of (Khouzestan Province) located in southwest of Karkheh river. This experiment was conducted in 2002 under rainfed conditions and statistical method of split-split plots and Fully Randomized Design Complete Blocks, with three replicates. The main treatments consisted of species: (Acacia victoriae, Eucalyptus camaldulensis 9616 and Prosopis uliflora), secondary treatments consist of spacing planting ( 44اm, 55اm and 66اmeter) and third treatments consist of rangland species (Cenchrus siliaris, Cymbopogon olivieri, Pennisetum divisium and Panicum antidotal). The measured characteristies were: survival, mean height, forage products and the effect of interplant trees distance on forage yield. After four years, the data were analyzed and Duncan test were done for data obtained. The results were as follows: The greatest surrival species belonged to Cymbopogon olivieari and E.Camaldulensis 9616 with 90 and 80 percent and the least belonged to the Cenchrus siliaris and A. victoriae with 60 and 50 percent, respectively. The species of E. Camaldulensis 9616 attained to the highest mean hight with 3.5 meter. The highest mean dry forage in rangland species belonged to Pennisetum divisium with 1347 kg/ha and followed by panicum antidotal with 1035 kg/ha, Cymbopogon olivieari with 370 kg/ha and Cenchrus siliaris with 235 kg/ha respectively. The forage yield decreased in all of rangland species when planted with E. Camaldulensis 9616 in 44اm species.
