Abstract:

Following the January 1991 Persian Gulf War happened and huge amounts of atmospheric pollutants were distributed in the Persian Gulf region. In one third of Iran's territory, atmosphere and water pollutants penetrated following of war. . During this war biological texture of many countries in world were hurt by pollutants directly and indirectly the aim of this study was confirmation of pollution entrance and assessment of environmental damages in Bushehr. This study was done in three habitat of mangrove tree in Assaluyeh, Bordekhon and Dayyer one natural habitat of Ziziphus in Sadabad and one natural habitats of Cashow, Prosopis in Kangan. This study was done for two successive years and assessment of damages was done by different methods. Enzymatic studies were used as the most sensitive method for monitoring of physiological changes in plants. Denderochronological studies was observed for assessment of quantitative damages in Prosopis and Ziziphus for determining. the intersity of pollution major element and heavy metals was measured in soil and plants (Natrium, potassium, load and cadmium). A new method was introduced for confirming. The role of tree in environmental changes Samples belonged to before and after the war results indicated 72% of mangrove, Ziziphus and Prosopis trees reacted against pollution in pollution happening year (1371) and after year. The growth rate decreased in Ziziphus and Prosopis 52% in comparison to mean growth to mean growth rate during 15 years. Negative effect was seen according to the amounts of elements. Quantitative and qualitative amylase were done by Spectrophotometer UV and PAGE method. Denderocronological studies was done by stereomicroscope and related programs. Element analysis was done by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer and spectrophotometer.
