Abstract:

Soil fertility and distribution pattern of nutritional elements in three different station's soil or Ciln.lS Research Institute of Iran was detemnined in western part of Mazandaran province (Ramsar, Khoram-Abad and Kotra), Total absorbable nitrogen. phosphorous and potassium were measured and organic carbon content of these soils was detennibed. The results from this study in each location were as follows: A) Ramsar station Total nitrogen in nn3 percent of this station'S soil was 0/08-0/16 percent and In the rest of soil samples was more than 0/16 percent. Absorbable phosphorous was more than 10 PPM in 90/91 percent of soils and lower than 5 PPM in the rest. Absorbable potassium was lower than 250 PPM in 95/45 percent of this station's soil and more than 400 PPM in the rest. Organic carbon in 86/36 percent of soils was more than I percent and 0/ 6-1 percent in/the rest. B) Khoram-Abad Total nitrogen in 74/29 percent of soil samples was 0/08-0/16 percent and more than 0/16 percent in the rest of this station's soil and in 17/14 percent was lower than 0/08 percent. Absorbable phosphorous in 85/71 percent of soil samples was more than 10 PPM and for other samples this amount was lower thann 5 PPM. Absorbable potassium was lower than 250 PPM for total of soil samples.Organic carbon content in 82/86 percent of sampls was more than 1 percent and 0/6-1 in the rest. C) Kotra station Total nitrogen in 34/19 percent of soil samples was lower than 0/08 percent and thiS amount was 0/08-0/16 percent for 56/98 percent and more than 0/16 percent in the rest of samples. Absorbable phosphorous in 88/82 percent of soil samples was lower than 5 PPM and 5-10 PPM for the rest of soil samples. Absorbable potassium in 72/09 percent of soil samples was lower than 250 PPM and 250-400 PPM for the rest. samples was lower than 0/6 percent.
