Application of model test and theoretical investigation for the dynamic analysis of high speed craft behavior

In this paper the existing methods for dynamic analysis and performance prediction of high speed craft reviewed and for the case study boats, the theoretical calculation compared with experimental data from model test for the case study boats that already designed and tested by authors, via the systematic model test procedures the effect of various design parameters such as weight, center of gravity, w/p ratio and tail effect on the hydrodynamic performance of case study boats investigated by using the model test and full scale data and effectiveness of experimental methods and accuracy of the theoretical procedures described for the application in various design stages of high speed craft.
