Abstract:

The The phenomenon of global warming and urban heat island (UHI) have been combined to let temperature increase in urban areas. In this paper, the meteorological data of Teheran and Qazvin were analyzed. Also the urban planning factors were analyzed. The results show that the average annual temperature of Tehran has been increased about 2.1℃ and the average annual temperature for Qazvin has been decreased about 0.5℃. The results show that the heat island of Tehran is sever than the world mean level. The population increase and land developments are the main factors for the climate change in these two cities.
