Abstract:
In this work, thermodynamic study of (LiClO۴+ ethylene carbonate+ water) system were investigated using the potentiometric method at T=۲۹۸.۲K.The electromotive force (emf) measurements over total ionic strengths from ۰.۰۰۹۱ to ۲.۴۰۰۱ mol.kg-۱ for different mixed solvent system containing ۰,۱۰,۲۰, and ۳۰% mass fractions of EC in water+ EC. The mean activity coefficients of LiClO۴ in this ternary system were determined using emf measurements in according to the Nernst equation.The Specific Ion Interaction Theory (SIT) and the Three-Characteristic-Parameter Correlation (TCPC) were used to correlate the experimental data. The solvation parameter (S), n ,є۰ and є∞ for the system were reported.
